A key feature of All Saints’ life is its School. It is a School that has been highly commended & is deservedly popular.  A high premium is put on each child developing their full potential both academically and socially, and within an inclusive, aspirational environment.  Pupils are encouraged to take responsible initiatives and to care for each other.  Staff, parents, governors, children work together as a strong team. Above all, our school creates a happy environment in which teaching and learning can flourish.

In September 2014 the children’s behaviour was awarded ‘Outstanding’ in an Ofsted Inspection, and the school was found to provide a good education. These were some of Ofsted’s other findings

“Pupils say how much they enjoy school, and and very much embrace its Christian values.”
“The behaviour of pupils is outstanding.  They cooperate extremely well and are friendly and courteous to one another and to adults.  Their behaviour is impeccable.”
“Teachers use a range of effective approaches, including questioning, to engage pupils and to extend their learning.  Books show that pupils make good progress over time. In 2014, Year 2 pupils made rapid progress.  Year 6 pupils reached above standards”

Admissions are made in the May before the September of the academic year  in which a child’s third birthday falls; and then there is a similar process two years’ later for admission to our main school.  A register is available in church during church services for prospective parents to signa as proof of their church attendance.

There are many good secondary schools in Barnet, especially our local Church of England Academy, the Wren Academy.

Wren Academy is an 11-18 secondary school in the London Borough of Barnet. We are now open to six year groups and in September 2014 the Academy will take in a further year group to its newly opened sixth form, growing to its optimum size of about 1150 students.

Wren Academy has already established an excellent reputation for high academic standards and for providing an innovative curriculum. This has been endorsed by an ‘outstanding’ Ofsted report. Amongst the conclusions of the inspectors were the findings that teaching at the Academy is ‘stunning’ and that behaviour is ‘impeccable’.

The Academy, specialising in Design and the Built Environment, is sponsored by the Church of England and Berkhamsted School and is located in a brand new suite of buildings with state-of-the-art facilities on Hilton Avenue.

Find out all about the Academy on this website which has details of its admissions policies.

The Church abides strictly to these policies in ALL applications.
