All Saints’ Choir

Here at All Saints’ we are proud of our thriving choir who sing at our monthly Evensongs and Sunday Choral Mass. They also perform in one-off events such as our popular Nine Lessons and Carols at Christmas. We are very valued to be able to have this musical offering which is enjoyed by both the congregation and the clergy.

Our friendly, mixed choir is led by our Director of Music, Douglas Knight, and rehearses weekly on a Wednesday evening from 7pm-8:15pm. We are currently recruiting for new members, more details below.

Please take a look below at one of our evensong performances, or take a look at our You Tube channel for more recordings.

New Choir Members Needed!

All Saints’ is currently recruiting volunteer singers in all voice parts to expand its small and capable SATB choir in offering choral music at the monthly Sunday Choral Mass and Evensongs.

Total commitment 5:30pm-7:30pm on the first Sunday of the month (Choral Evensong) and 9:20-11:00am on the third Sunday of the month (Sung Mass), plus festal services, including our popular Nine Lessons and Carols on Christmas Eve. Anthems are sung occasionally on other Sunday morning services during communion, sometimes by soloists.

Robed, friendly mixed choir led and taught by professional organist. Singers forecast their attendance and the music list is planned. The agenda is: getting it right for worship, being kind to each other and learning as we go.

Repertoire ranges from Plainsong to Will Todd and is chosen for its worth and triangulated with the liturgy and attendance forecast.

If you are interested, please contact Director or Music, Douglas Knight: dcpknight@gmail.com for an informal assessment of voice and reading capability, then try us without obligation. We rehearse weekly on Wednesdays 7:00pm-8:15pm in the church.
